Steve Piorkowski has coached softball at the High School level for 20 years. He has successfully taught and
transitioned players and their skills into winners.
His teams have won 8 Division Championships and Finished in the Final Four 7 out of the last 11 years. He has had
the honor of being recognized twice by Newsday as Coach of The Year. He was recognized as Coach of the Year 2007
by the Times Ledger. His 2007 team enjoyed an undefeated season.
He has trained and coached players who have been named to The All City and All Queens teams. He also has
coached winners of the PSAL Heisman Award and New York City Player of The Year. Many of his players have gone on
