The Catching Skills Clinic is a comprehensive training experience for
any Fastpitch Catcher.
The catcher is arguably the second most important position on
the field and can make or break a good pitcher and/or team.
The skills covered will have the catcher become a complete and
effective receiver that provides confidence to the pitcher and
improve overall team defense.
We will teach, train, and improve each catcher's body positioning,
balance, receiving, blocking, framing, transfer and throwing, throwing
technique, throwing accuracy, glove to base throwing quickness,
fielding bunts, pop ups, covering home plate, dropped third plays,
1st and 3rd plays, and calling pitches.
This clinic will improve each catchers understanding of game
strategy and why they are the defensive field captain. If you are
looking to improve your catching ability for this upcoming season
then this clinic is for you!
